| Advocate | 					 An Advocate (or Brand Advocate) is a customer who is so satisfied with a product, service, or brand that they promote it spontaneously, authentically, and selflessly. They are not simply loyal customers, but true advocates who actively generate positive word of mouth, becoming one of a company's most valuable and credible marketing assets. 2.  3. When is it used / in what context is it useful?The concept of the Advocate is central to Inbound Marketing , Relationship Marketing , and Community Management strategies. The goal is not only to acquire and retain customers, but to cultivate their satisfaction to the point of turning them into active promoters. It is the highest level of the customer loyalty pyramid. 4. Practical exampleImagine a user who purchases a new productivity software. After using it for a month, they not only renew their subscription, but also write a glowing review on the website, discuss it in their LinkedIn professional group, and recommend it to a colleague during a call. They received no discount or incentive for doing so: they're acting solely on the basis of their positive experience. That user is an Advocate. 5. Extra insightWhat's the difference between an Advocate and an Influencer ? Motivation. An Advocate acts out of genuine satisfaction and almost always for free. An Influencer, on the other hand, collaborates with the brand usually based on a commercial agreement (financial compensation or supply of products/services).
